Because all kinds of electrodes and cables for inflammation,
pain, and tension relief treatment are mixed together,
the challenge was how to arrange them in a user-friendly manner.

Color matching between switches and
electrodes to avoid misuse was a particular challenge,
as different electrodes
and suction cups are used simultaneously in a single treatment.
We sought an honest solution to the most difficult and
important design challenge of the combined therapy device.

The stays that allow the device to be attached
to the patient's entire body without long cables sticking
to the floor were tested many times.

Heater trays heat all suction cups
in consideration of winter treatment.
The design also takes measures to prevent tangling
of the numerous long electrode cords that cover the entire body.
The complex output panel terminals,
which are unique to complex therapy devices,
have been organized in such a way as to make it easier
for both therapists and non-therapists to use.　

The design is user-friendly for both therapists and non-therapists.

The design challenge for this treatment device was to make
the main body of the device portable
while keeping the long electrode cables
from tangling and swaying to the floor.

The hangers on the back of the device were designed to provide
both friction to hold the cables in place
and lubrication to make them easy to remove.

Design solution for the expression of compact and
high-functional machine and
the visibility of each channel operation and wiring.

For diabetics with reduced vision,
we designed the table on which the test strips are placed
to be as large as possible,
to increase the contrast between the body and table color,
and to improve the strip guidance.

We strived to ensure a high sense of accuracy
and affinity between both the upper and lower models.
In addition, the graphic design
to indicate monitoring values is highly visible and legible.

Furthermore, the opening and closing of the battery cover has been designed so as not to place a burden on diabetics.
The test strip ejector function allows the user to dispose of the test strip without touching the blood-soaked test strip.

Test strip: A test strip that reads the glucose level of a collected blood sample.

The appearance and mechanism were designed to enable replacement
of the liner (waste fluid bag) from the front.
When replacing the liner, the canister (transparent case that holds the liner) lowers and opens,
allowing even short people to easily replace the liner.

In addition, many components are removable and washable to prevent environmental infection.
